Mrs. Perkins has been in education since 2006. She started as a high school chemistry teacher and soon realized her passion for helping others. She completed her master’s in educational psychology from Texas A&M in 2018 and began her career as a school counselor in Keller ISD. Ms. Perkins served at the high school level for 6 years before joining MISD.

Ms. Perkins enjoys traveling, organizing, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. She is a wife to a pastor, and together, they have 4 children between the ages of 23-18. All of them have decided to attend Texas Tech so they have become a Raider family! Wreck ‘em!

Mr. Roberts began his career in education in 2001 as a high school science teacher in El Paso, TX. After moving back to the DFW area in 2006, Mr. Roberts remained in the high school as a chemistry teacher and began teaching at Tarrant County College as an Adjunct Professor in Chemistry.  He has three kids ages 25, 23 and 20 and one 3 year old granddaughter. Mr. Roberts received a Bachelors in Biology from UTA, Master's of Science in Chemistry/Physics from UTEP and a Master's of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University.  Mr. Roberts loves to travel and explore new parts of the world with his wife, Amy, who is a nurse.
